Thank you for using it's fate. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It applies to the mobile application published under the bundle identifier com.itsfate.app.

1. Information We Collect

The app is designed so that its core features work without an account. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other directly identifying information.

Stored locally on your device:

  • Fortune draw results and your card history
  • Activity status for the current day, and your daily draw count
  • Your language preference
  • A randomly generated anonymous device identifier

Sent to our servers, only when verifying a purchase:

  • An anonymous device identifier
  • The transaction identifier and product identifier of your purchase
  • The purchase receipt / transaction payload issued by the platform store

2. Purchase Information

Premium features are sold through the platform's in-app purchase system (the Apple App Store on iOS, Google Play on Android). Payments are processed entirely by the platform; we never receive or store your payment card details.

To confirm that a purchase is valid and to unlock Premium features, the app sends the transaction identifier and receipt to our verification server. Our server forwards this to Apple's App Store Server API for validation and stores the resulting record (anonymous device identifier, transaction identifier, product identifier, platform, and verification timestamp).

3. How We Use Information

  • To provide the fortune-drawing features and keep track of your daily progress
  • To verify in-app purchases and unlock Premium features on your device
  • To restore your purchase on the same device or the same store account
  • To remember your language preference
  • To diagnose and fix technical faults

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it to anyone.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your usage data — draw results, card history, daily counts, and language preference — is stored locally on your device and can be erased at any time using Settings → Reset All Data.

Purchase verification records are stored on our servers, which are protected by HTTPS in transit and by access controls at rest. These records contain only the anonymous device identifier, transaction identifier, product identifier, platform, and timestamp. They contain no name, email address, or payment details.

5. Third-Party Services

The app uses the platform's in-app purchase service (Apple App Store / Google Play). Your purchase is also subject to the platform's own privacy policy. We do not integrate advertising networks, attribution SDKs, or third-party analytics that track you across other apps or websites.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Local data remains on your device until you reset it in Settings or delete the app. Purchase verification records are kept for as long as needed to honour your purchase and to meet accounting and legal obligations. You may request deletion of the verification record associated with your anonymous device identifier by contacting us at the address below.

7. Children's Privacy

The app is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with such information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to object to its processing. Contact us at the address below and we will respond within the period required by applicable law.

9. International Transfers

Our verification server may process data in a country other than yours. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure the data continues to receive an adequate level of protection.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date on this page, and where appropriate we will also notify you in the app.

Please note: it's fate is an entertainment app. Fortune readings are generated for fun and inspiration only. They are not professional advice of any kind — medical, legal, financial, or psychological — and you should not rely on them when making important decisions.

1. Service Description

it's fate lets you draw a fortune card for a chosen daily activity and revisit the cards you have drawn. The app is provided for personal, non-commercial entertainment use.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. If you are under 18, you should use it under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By using the app you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. Premium Purchase

The app offers a Premium upgrade, available as a one-time, non-consumable purchase through the platform's in-app purchase system. Premium unlocks additional features, such as unlimited daily draws.

  • Payment is charged to your platform store account upon confirmation of purchase.
  • Because this is a non-consumable purchase, it can be restored on the same store account using Settings → Restore Purchase, at no additional charge.
  • Refunds are handled by the platform store (Apple or Google) in accordance with its policies. We cannot issue refunds directly.
  • Prices are shown in the app and may vary by region and over time.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the app for any unlawful purpose;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app;
  • interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to circumvent the app's purchase verification or security features;
  • copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the app or its content without our written consent.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the app — including text, fortune card designs, graphics, animations, sound effects, user interface elements, and software code — are the exclusive property of it's fate and its licensors, and are protected by copyright and trademark law.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. Fortune readings are for entertainment purposes only, and we make no representation regarding their accuracy, completeness, or outcome.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, it's fate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you actually paid for the app.

8. Changes and Termination

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the app or any of its features at any time. We may also update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights available to you under the law of your country of residence.
